IndyCar Grand Prix

Get revved up for the Monterey IndyCar Grand Prix this weekend! Premier open wheel races are hosted at Laguna Seca Raceway this Saturday and Sunday, September 21st & 22nd. Qualifications and Pit Stop Practices are held all day Saturday, then the final race occurs Sunday from 3:15-5:15PM. We had a steady tempo in the local real estate market with 8 total closings and 5 new sales in our subject regions. Ready, set, go have a great weekend!

There were no new sales in Pebble this week, but the region did report 4 closed sales. Closings included a beautifully remodeled Spanish Colonial estate on a large corner lot near MPCC (sale price: $3.6M, 10% off most recent list price or 14% off original list price, DOM = 107), an extensively renovated Tuscan inspired home in Country Club West which was on the market for just a week (sale price: $2.4M, 6% off list price), a dated ‘80’s build with views of Spyglass (sale price: $1.885M, 3% off list price, DOM = 27), and a tastefully renovated circa 1970’s home clocked in at $1.65M (6% off most recent list price or 13% off original list price, DOM = 57).


Carmel had a steady week with 4 closed escrows and 4 new sales. “Suite Cherub” - A picturesque Golden Rectangle cottage sold for 7% off list price ($2.195M) after 4 months on the market, a cozy vintage cottage in SE Carmel clocked in at $1.55M (6% off most recent list price or 18% off original list price, DOM = 255), a dated home with guest structure in the middle of the Golden Rectangle sold full price ($1.595M) after 2 days on the market, and a fixer in NE Carmel sold at 7% off list price ($1.025M) after 1 month on the market. New sales in Carmel this week included: a newly built oversized Craftsman style home in SE Carmel (list price: $2.65M (original: $2.795M) which was on the market for 3 months, an updated quintessential circa 1930’s cottage centrally located near the Carmel Mission (list price: $1.749M, original: $1.995M, DOM = 109), a vintage home featured in “Carmel’s Fairy Tale Cottages” with beautiful gardens in NE Carmel (list price: $1.495M, original: $1.595M, DOM = 372), and a dated home with opportunity on a large lot in NE Carmel with an ask of $1.348M (DOM = 41).
