As we inch closer to the holidays, market activity has slowed across the board this week with a total of 5 closed escrows and 6 new sales in our regions. We have a couple of fun events to recommend at Quail Lodge & Golf Club this upcoming week: live carolers are performing by the holiday tree on the deck on Friday, 12/16 from 6-8PM and there is a Tuscan themed Pop-Up dinner on 12/20 from 6-9PM. As always, a few highlights from the week below:


Pebble Beach experienced another quiet week with one closed escrow and three new sales. The lone closed escrow was a single level home in the Country Club West neighborhood on the market for just 5 days ($1.673M). The top new sale was a newly renovated traditional estate near the Lodge at 1544 Viscaino Road with ocean views and a list price of $7.99M. Other new sales consisted of a 1920s build at 2865 Lasauen Road on the market for 9 days, listed at $995K and a Cape Cod style fixer at 2861 Forest Lodge Road ($939K).


Although last week was quite productive, Carmel saw a major downtempo with just 3 closed escrows and 2 new sales. Closings consisted of a board-and-batten cottage located at 0 Torres SE Corner of 1st Avenue ($1.995M), a 15-year-old Mediterranean at 26345 Ladera Drive closing at $1.56M, and a bungalow at 25045 Monterey Street on the market for only 10 days selling just over asking price at $1.5M. New sales included a Carmel cottage in the Golden Rectangle at 0 Monte Verde 2 NW of Santa Lucia listed at $2.599M and a dated Hatton Fields home listed at $1.249M.


One new sale occurred in the Highlands – a Mid-Century Modern with peeks of the ocean, located at 5 Yankee Point Drive with a list price of $1.395M. Worth noting, this listing was on the market for less than one week.


Quail had no closed escrows but one new sale to report. The lone sale in Quail was a two-story condominium on the grounds of the Lodge at 7026 Valley Greens Circle, #10 closing for $690K. There was no new market activity to note in the Preserve.

  • NEW SALE: 26080 Mesa Drive, $1.249M, DOM = 41
