Happy 4th of July

This upcoming Thursday marks the 13 colonies’ 243rd year of independence from England eventually leading to what is now the United States of America. To celebrate, our area has a plethora of events for all ages and interests. Carmel-by-the-Sea will be hosting an old-fashioned, family-style celebration in Devendorf Park from 12:00-4:00pm with free food and festivities. If you’re looking to see some fireworks, head over to Seaside where a fireworks display will start at 9:30pm at the Bayonet & Blackhorse Golf Course. Looking to be active? Spreckels starts the day off with a 5K and 10K race followed by a parade. Pebble Beach had 4 closed escrows and 2 new sales this week. The top closed escrow came from the Country Club West neighborhood; a single level Mediterranean built in 2007 that closed at $3.15M (7% off list price). The other 3 closings were a 1960’s fixer in Country Club West that closed at $1.25M (7% off list price), a newly remodeled home in Upper Forest that closed after just one week on the market and at $6K over ask (List Price $1.25M), and a Shepherds Knoll condo that closed at $675K. The top new sale came from the Lodge area: a 5-bedroom estate with ocean views and close to the Lone Cypress listed at $3.95M. We are honored to represent the sellers of 56 Spanish Bay Circle, a golf front end unit listed at $3.175M.


Carmel had 1 closed escrow and 1 new sale. An ocean view home with guest house located on a corner lot on Carmel Point closed at $6.3M (6% off list price). The new sale was a condo on Mission and 3Rd that was remodeled in 2010 and listed at $925K.


The Carmel Highlands had one new sale this week. A stunningly renovated modern home with ocean views and a detached guest studio listed at $2.995M. We are honored to represent the seller of this modern masterpiece.


Quail Lodge saw 1 new sale this week; a 3-bedroom mid-century modern home listed at $1.55M.
