We typically see a mild tapering in the local market around tax season and this week follows suit. This year’s anomaly is the sale of an iconic oceanfront listing located just South of Cypress Point Golf Course. A few highlights worth mentioning below:
Pebble stole the show this week despite lagging behind Carmel in sales volume. The top closed escrow comes from the West side of the famed 17 Mile Drive- a French style estate labeled ‘Otter Cove’ with expansive ocean views which borders Cypress Point that closed at $28M (20% off of list price). The other closed escrow is an updated Ranch-style fixer in the Country Club East area that closed at $1.1M (5% off of list price). The top new sale, considered by many to have the best view in Pebble Beach, is a Mediterranean-style mansion on the coveted Del Ciervo Road with an ask of $22M.
