The Hacienda

Built in the 1920’s by George Gordon Moore, the spanish Colonial Hacienda is the Preserve’s social center, providing a 16-room lodge for Ranch members and their guests. Fine dining is available every night in season, and The Hacienda hosts a weekly “social” event every Thursday, frequently accompanied by a guest speaker or a special menu from The Preserve’s own Chef Jerry Regester. Although considered a part of The Hacienda, The Ranch House is a separate structure with 7 guest rooms and private courtyard. It is often used by members for family reunions and group gatherings. In addition to the sprawling lawns and landscape, there is a private pool with a service cabana.

The Sports Center

Located adjacent to The Hacienda, The Sports Center offers a variety of outdoor recreation and fitness activities. It boasts an aquatic center with resort-like pool, heated spa, children’s’ pool, play fountains, and a three-story slide for all ages. From May through September an on-site chef prepares pool-side comfort food. In addition, there are 4 tennis courts (two hard surfaced, two acrylic clay), a manicured croquet court, (which sometimes doubles as a grass tennis court), a full-sized bocce court, horseshoe pits, and an enclosed batting cage. Inside the Sports Center, there is a workout room complete with cardio equipment, strength machines and free weights, a movement studio for private use, or for a variety of classes including Yoga. There are also fully equipped Men’s and Ladies’ locker rooms.
