The summer weather is upon us and with it comes the annual surge in interest in second homes in Pebble Beach and Carmel. There were 7 new sales this week and 7 closed escrows, with the top sale coming in at 30770 Aurora del Mar, in the Carmel Highlands and the top closed escrow being a tear down on 17 Mile Drive for $4.2M. Here’s a quick summary of the key areas this week:
Pebble Beach saw 3 new sales including 1042 Rodeo listed for $1.85M, 1267 Cantera Court for $1.475M and 2957 Sloat listed for $949K. The 3 closed escrows in Pebble were 3121 17 Mile Drive which closed at list price for $4.2M, 3048 Larkin closed for $1.358M and 4106 Pine Meadows Way which closed for $900K.
Carmel had 3 new sales including a nice home on an oversized lot on San Antonio listed for $3.799M, a charming house at 25325 Hatton listed for $975K and a short sale at the corner of 4th and Perry Newberry listed for $759K. The closed sales in Carmel included a nice ocean view home on the corner of Carmelo & 12th that closed for $2.122M, a cottage with a guest unit at Casanova 2NW of Ocean sold for $1.85M, a great family home at Guadalupe & 1st that closed for $1.449M and a charming board and batten cottage at Carpenter 1NE of 5th that sold for $810K.
