The market continued at a steady summer pace this week with 4 new sales and 7 closed escrows across both Carmel and Pebble Beach. Pebble Beach had 3 of the 4 new sales, including our listing on Crespi that’s listed for $8.95M, an old Mediterranean on The Old Drive that’s listed for $2.295M and a Cape Cod style home on Congress that’s listed for $1.595M. The closed escrow in Pebble included an older cottage by Cypress Point on Portola that sold for $3.65M, a remodeled French chateau on Forest Lake Road that sold for $2.675M, a new Spanish home on Sherman Road that sold for $1.98M and a teardown on Spyglass Woods drive that sold for $760K.
The new sale in Carmel was 2658 15th Avenue, a fixer out on Carmel Point that’s listed for $1.65M. The 3 closed escrows this week all occurred in the Golden Rectangle: a completely renovated home at San Antonio 4SW of 12th closed escrow for $4.9M after just a day on the market, an older home on a triple lot at Dolores & 11th closed for $2.85M and a smaller cottage at Monte Verde 2SE of 7th closed for $1.25M.
