The Pebble Beach and prime Carmel markets continued their seasonal slow-down last week but still saw two new sales in each market. Pebble Beach saw new sales in the Estates part of the Forest with asking prices of $1.799M and $2.349M; Pebble also saw two closed sales, both lower-priced properties ($1.29M and $970k) – nice to see demand continuing as we march into November but, clearly slowing.
Carmel is slowing more than Pebble. Zero closed sales but two new sales: One, a spec house on Carmel Point with an ask of $4.795M and the other, also on The Point, a cottage on Valley View with an ask of $2.35M. The Point continues to enjoy greater demand than the Golden Rectangle of late -odd to see the Golden Rectangle completely blanked for a week.

Finally, we are going to be adding select rental properties to our website in the next few weeks for those interested in buying but wanting to ‘test drive’ the area beforehand. Look for that before Thanksgiving.
