Pebble Beach had a very strong week with 4 new sales and 2 closed escrows. The closed escrows included an oceanfront sale by the Lodge that closed off market for $22.5M. This continues the turnover that’s been taking place on the ocean front of Pebble with 5 sales in the past year and a half – a sharp increase considering there were only 2 sales from 2006-2013. The other closed escrow in Pebble Beach was a fixer on Ronda that closed for $1.625M. The new escrows were all in the MPCC area of Pebble: 3145 Stevenson is listed for $1.195M, 3094 Bird Rock is listed for $919K (a fixer that was only on the market for 6 days),1066 Marcheta Lane is listed for $900K and 2923 The Old Drive that’s listed for $1.495M.
Carmel was very quiet this week with two closed escrows and no new sales. Both closes this week were in the Golden Rectangle: a completely renovated home on Dolores 3SE of 9th closed for $2.5M and a small cottage on a corner lot at Lincoln and 11th sold for $1.35M.
