Despite the turn cooling off of temperatures this week, Pebble sales continued to stay hot with 1 new sale and 5 closed sales. The new sale came in a short sale on Hacienda Drive, overlooking MPCC, that was listed for $1.6M. The closed sales included a teardown on the shore course of MPCC that sold for $3.135M, a new contemporary on Bird Rock that sold for $2.05M, a remodeled Mediterranean home on Strawberry Hill that closed for $1.5M, a ranch style house on Lasauen that closed for $945K and an updated home on Chamisal that sold for $778K. This was also a good week for new listings coming to market with 6 new properties coming to market, all priced above $1M.
Carmel was much slower this week with just one closed and one new sale, both of which were out on Carmel Point. The new sale was a midcentury modern home on Santa Lucia listed for $1.585M – this is a style of architecture that has gotten increased interest from clients as of late. The closed sale was an older, single level house on Valley View that after 2 years on the market closed for $1.65M.
