Pace Cooling Down From the Hot Start

admin Weekly Blog 0 Comments

After a hot start in January, Pebble Beach and the prime parts of Carmel cooled down slightly with only one new sale in Pebble on Peisano Rd with an ask of $2.475M and zero new sales in Carmel.  Pebble’s only closed sale was a $1.151M “fixer” close to MPCC; we were fortunate and honored to represent the buyers on that sale.  Carmel saw only one closed sale as well, a charming cottage for $1.25M near the Sunset Center.

As anticipated, Pebble saw a spike in inventory with 3 new active listings and 2 coming back to market.  The Golden Rectangle brought two properties to market this week, both on San Antonio; a Mediterranean on the west side with an asking price of $4.195M and a double sized lot on the corner of 10th with an ask of $3.695M.  Carmel Point remained quiet this week with zero new listings or sales, again mostly due to such low inventory levels.

AT&T preparations are in full-gear now and the energy is picking up as the area prepares for another spectacular tournament.  In the mean-time, hope you are able to enjoy some activities around town as there should be nice weather coming up.
