Not Stellar, but Steady.

But for one off-market Carmel sale of note, the Carmel and Pebble markets were steady this week.  Carmel saw two new sales and zero closed sales; the new sales included a small cottage in the Golden Rectangle down on Dolores and a fairly plain standard 1600 sq. ft. home on Valley View on Carmel Point.

The noteworthy Carmel sale was the legendary Butterfly House, one of only 5 true waterfront properties in Carmel.  Exquisitely renovated, this one-of-a-kind home is certain to be treasured by the new owners.  We we’re honored to have handled the sale of this iconic property.

Pebble Beach saw 3 new sales and one closed sale, a pronounced jump from last week’s snooze.  All 3 new sales were MPCC area sales at the lower end of the market, two actually under $1M; the closed sale was also at the bottom, a steal also in the MPCC area at $771,000 – an incredible value and buy.  The clock is clearly ticking on those opportunities.

One other item of note:  We’re bringing a new, high-quality ocean view home to market in the next week or so.  Located along coveted Crespi Lane minutes to both Carmel and The Lodge at Pebble Beach, this newly-built Mediterranean home combines meticulous craftsmanship and stunning views of Carmel Bay and Point Lobos. Comfortable, yet spacious, the home offers 7 suites, including two master suites, one on the main level and one upstairs as well as a dream kitchen, spectacular ocean view office, billiard/rec room, abundant storage and gracious gardens.  This gem is perfect for hosting extended family and visiting golfers.
