Holiday Market Nap Begins

admin Weekly Blog

The Pebble Beach and prime Carmel markets appear to beginning their annual holiday nap.  Not one new or closed sale in the prime parts of Carmel last week.  Zip.  Pebble Beach had one closed sale, a nicely renovated and reasonably well-located MPCC home which closed at $1.84M; there was also one new sale in Pebble, a small major-fixer in the upper part of the Forest with an ask of $695,000.  Not much activity but, fairly typical historically.

We will likely see a few blips in activity over the next two months but I’d be surprised if there were any significant volume spikes.  For those of you out-of-area, our weather has been incredible of late – fall is generally our best weather time of year.

Next week we’ll be adding a charming Carmel cottage to our Discreetly available section on the web site; we’ll be bringing that one formally to market later in January.
