Carmel Warms Up While Pebble Beach Remains Steady
Lagging behind Pebble of late, the prime Carmel market heated up this week with 3 new sales and 3 closed sales – very healthy pace on an annualized basis. The new sales including a renovated home on Carmel Point with an ask of $2.25M and two smaller homes in the Golden Rectangle, with asks of $1.795M and $1.15M. The closed sales involved a property north of Ocean on the sand that closed at $6.35M after being on the market for years, a Golden Rectangle home at $2.225M and a value-priced home south of Santa Lucia at $1.425M. Again, very healthy week in Carmel
Pebble Beach remained steady – it’s had a great year and shows no signs of slowing. Pebble saw 2 new sales and 3 closed sales. New sales were both in the red hot lower brackets with asks of $1.495M and $1.125M. Closed sales included a great deal on an ocean view Mediterranean on Ronda Rd at $5.0M a renovated MPCC home in a solid location at $2.2M and a value-fixer also in the MPCC area with an ask of $895K. Strong and steady remain the theme in Pebble this year.
Next week we will be bringing to the open market perhaps the best located home on the Pebble Golf Links. Classic architecture and overwhelming views. Should have some photos posted early next week. More to follow on this one.
