While we are beginning to see some of our traditional seasonal slowing, Carmel Point heated up this week with the sale of a $4.2M newly listed home on Ocean View, and a recently listed new contemporary on Valley View with an ask of $3.695M. Golden Rectangle went quiet and there were no closed sales last week in the prime parts of Carmel; however, given the light inventory on The Point, those two sales carry real weight.
Pebble Beach also saw zero closed sales last week but did see 3 new sales, all in the MPCC area of The Forest, with asking prices of $769K, $950K and $1.995M. Bottom of the Pebble market has been on fire, all year long, no doubt due in large part to the incredibly cheap cost of capital.
We’ll also be bringing to the open market after the first of the year one of the most distinctive homes we’ve ever seen at Quail Lodge.www.RiverfrontQuailContemporary.com. Dynamic house, high quality and great setting.
Weather’s supposed to be great again this weekend; hope you’re able to get out and enjoy the activities around town:
11/11 – Veteran’s Day Ceremony held at Devendorf Park.
11/14-11/15 – Chamber Music of Monterey Bay presents Escher String Quartet at The Sunset Center.
11/14 – Trio Carmel is hosting Ian Brand of Ian Brand & Family Wines for Old Vines and Rare Wines.
