A New Peak in Pebble Beach

admin Weekly Blog

The Pebble Beach and prime Carmel markets had another steady week last week, led by the sale of one of the most spectacular estates in Pebble, Wits End, a landmark property located beside the 13th green, perhaps the best location on the course; that property closed at $31.25M.

Pebble saw two additional closed sales, a nice home near the entry to the MPCC that closed at $2.09M and a fixer in the MPCC area that closed at $835K.  Pebble also saw one new pending sale, a smaller rancher also in the MPCC area with an ask of $1.225M.  Bit of a sandwich market in Pebble with demand strong at the top and the bottom and some sponginess in between.

The prime parts of Carmel saw one new sale and two closed sales.  The new sale was a small historic contemporary home on Scenic with an ask of $3.999M and the closed sales included a classic Carmel cottage in the Golden Rectangle that closed at $2.15M and a newer, large home on the east side of San Antonio on a 6000 ft corner lot  that closed at $4.95M.

Velocity beginning to slow a bit but still pretty good action in both markets.  We’re finally expecting a bit of rain this weekend – much needed.  Here’s what’s going on around town this weekend:
